Location
Corpus Christi’s location is almost the center of the Texas coast on the Gulf of Mexico at an elevation of 35 feet. Interstate 37 originates in downtown Corpus Christi and provides a direct link to both Interstate 35 and Interstate 10 in San Antonio.

U.S. Highway 77 connects Corpus Christi to both the Rio Grande Valley (Harlingen, Brownsville and Matamoros, Mexico) to the south and Victoria to the north where U.S. Highway 59 provides a link to Houston.
